Verify a certificate

Enter the verification identifier exactly as printed on the certificate. The record is checked on the server; no registry data is embedded in this page.

Verification checks the registry ID, recorded status, required fields, issue date, and SHA-256 integrity digest.
Methodology

How verification is performed

Each search is evaluated against the server's registry record. The result shows precisely which validation steps were completed.

01

Identify the record

Locate the exact certificate ID and confirm the corresponding entry and required descriptive fields exist in the registry.

02

Validate record status

Check the current recorded status and issue timestamp. A missing, invalid, or future-dated record cannot receive a successful overall report.

03

Compute & compare

Recalculate the original canonical SHA-256 payload on the server and compare the result with the stored digest in constant time.
