arXiv:2611.00409v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: This paper proposes an open-source automated LC matching network optimization framework that combines schematic-level design optimization with electromagnetic (EM)-aware post-layout refinement. An ML-based surrogate predicts the frequency-dependent complex admittance of individual routes, enabling reuse across matching network topologies and physical layouts for the same technology node without retraining. These route models guide post-layout passive retuning to recover matching performance while preserving the layout footprint. Evaluated in a commercial 65nm CMOS technology, the surrogate achieves 1.94-4.91% mean absolute percentage error with respect to a full-wave electromagnetic solver, with no detected passivity violations.
